Mask making, and guided imagery with Ancestors, Spirit Guides, and Totem Animals

Shamanic mask making is the ancient art of bringing out your inner or spirit self and embodying it into a mask form. Mask making is an empowering tool to aid in self-exploration. 

In this day long experience you will participate in Shamanic ritual; make a plaster cast of a partner's face; have a mask cast made on your own face; undertake a Shamanic journey to discover your mask's unique significance; and adorn your mask to reflect information you've gained through journeying and connection with your innate abilities of intuition. 

With Stephanie’s guidance you will:

Paint and adorn your mask of personal transformation and empowerment

The evening, supported by night, fire, and drum magic, participants will be invited to don their masks and use this powerful transformative tool to explore, dance, or speak from their truth. Under the umbrella of starlight and connection with the sacred fire, you will discover what wants to be expressed and called forth into your life.

We will work with a feast of art supplies - paints, tools, acrylic medium, beads, furs, feathers, fabric, natural material, etc. Please bring personal items for your mask (i.e., cultural, tribal, or ancestral items, objects for healing or warrior power, spiritual icons, locks of hair, meaningful jewelry.

No artistic experience is needed. Some of the most amazing masks come from people with no preconceptions.
